Talk 13 - expectations
what to do and what not do. You must have been hearing it all the time and frankly it's annoying as hell. we tend to ignore most of it and treat it as a bother. There are so many laws, ideals and views for allowing every person to have the right to live the way they want to and yet this cant be said to be true for anyone but is it really that we don't want to told off by others. Is it really annoying. on deep introspection you might be lost in the endless loop of thoughts that spiral like a stairway into the deeps roots of your mind where all the essential thinking takes place. The part that gives us our so called personality. what we are and not how others see us and expect us to be. Even though people complain all the time about how others don't mind their own business and how some people are meddlesome. Whose fault do you think it is. Humans aren't perfect beings and can never be on their own and thus they admire perfection. They seek what they cant be. they can easily tell others fault rather than recognizing their own and at points then can even deny it. It's easier that way for them. to assume that they are something which they actually aren't. The irony of the situation is that. These very things which they assume about themselves are derived from other peoples opinions. We might think that we are abiding by our own ideal and following our passions and living the way we want but that exact way is an integration of various expectations society had imposed upon us. our subconscious mind had put them together without our own knowledge to make something that we call our unique personality. the things that constitute us are actually parts from everyone and everything we have ever heard or seen. The only part of us that constitutes us gets lost in the whole process. It gets busy in activities that has nothing to do with it but it does them because we force it to because at some or the other point of life we listen to society. we look up to it even though we have no reason to. humans are social beings and that is the only thing which wont ever be changing. thus expectations are never imposed on us. it's just us who try to meet them because we feel a desperate need to. We feel the need to prove ourselves in front of transparent mirrors we believe to be opaque. We feel the need to be different when we are so much alike and when we really do become different we tend to break up and look up to a different set of expectations. People can't live up to the expectations they don't know have been set for them and still they try and fail.
